Canon MP600 on Ubuntu

This printer isn't automatically supported in Ubuntu 7.04 - the best guide I've found for using this printer on Ubuntu is a page on the ubuntu wiki.
Once setup, the printer works great (double-sided printing included).
The scanner also works under Linux - though I've had trouble with the GUI tools. The scanimage command-line tool works well. Scan quality is good, though the contrast is low, so I use mogrify -gamma 0.6 -contrast * to boost it.
I still do photo printing from Windows, as I haven't found a good application for it in Linux.
